How to edit items?

To edit an item, go to the "Clothes" screen by tapping the "Clothes" icon on the main screen.
On the "Clothes" screen, choose an item and long-tap it to access the pop-up menu. From there, select "Edit". Alternatively, tap on the "Pencil" icon on an item's screen.

How to add or edit images?

To edit images, tap on the "pencil" icon in the lower-left corner of the image area.
To remove the background, tap the "Remove background" button.
You can find several background removal neural networks in the Getwardrobe app: "One item", "2+ items", "Human", and "More details". Tap on any of these networks to test which one is best suited for a particular item.
If you're satisfied with the background removal, tap "Save".
You can also erase, crop, rotate, or flip an image.
Tap on the eraser icon to remove remnants of the background.

To erase, touch the screen with your finger and use it to erase the remaining areas of the background. You can adjust the size of the eraser's diameter. If you make a mistake, you can undo any action by tapping the "reverse arrow" icon.
The eraser should be used after removing the background of one of the neural networks.
To add more images, tap the "camera" icon. You can add up to five pictures of an item.
To set a new main image, select the image thumbnail and then tap "Set main photo".

How to assign an item to another family member?

Family wardrobe is available only in the Premium subscription.
Whenever you add a new item to your wardrobe, it will be assigned to you automatically as the owner. However, if you want to assign it to another family member, just tap on their avatar. This will change the border of their avatar to green, indicating that the item now belongs to them.

How to edit a category?

Tap on the category field to open the screen with clothing categories.

Select a category. Choose from main categories such as "Top," "Layers," "Bottom," "Dress", "Shoes" and more. To view more main categories, swipe to the right.
Then, select a subcategory from those displayed on the screen, such as Jeans in Bottoms. The most popular subcategories are listed under each main category.
If the desired subcategory is not listed, search for the category name in the search bar.
While searching for categories, use the "Men" and "Women" buttons. Categories are divided into men and women; some categories are the same for both genders.
If you can't find a category for your item through all categories, you can request a new category, and we'll add it. To request a new category, enter its name in the input field and tap the "Request to add a new category" label.

How to add a brand?

To specify a brand, tap on the brand field, select from the list, or type to search.
If a brand is not listed, the app prompts you to add it.

How to edit a title of an item?

The Getwardrobe app automatically generates a title for a new item, but you can edit it according to your preferences.
You can improve a title by adding details and removing unnecessary words.
How to set a status of an item?
The status refers to the condition of an item. For example, "Active use" status means that the item is in good condition and you can wear it. All newly added items have the "Active use" status by default.
If an item is not "Active use", any outfit with it is marked inactive.
How to set colors for an item?
To change the item's colors, tap the colors field. The Getwardrobe app automatically assigns a color to an item. An item can have up to 5 colors.

Underneath the color of the item, you can see the color groups that have been assigned to the item's colors.
The Getwardrobe app assigns each item color to a color group.
To change/add colors to an item, tap the "+" icon and select the color from the list. To change the main color, select a color and tap "Set as main color".
You can edit an item's colors by using the color palette. To access the color palette, tap the "palette" icon in the upper right corner.
To remove any extra colors, tap the "x" icon
To exit the color editing screen, tap the "left arrow" icon in the upper left corner.
How to set a season for an item?
You can assign a season or multiple seasons, or no season at all, to an item.
If an item is assigned a season, it can only be paired with other items from the same season in auto-generated outfits.
How to add a link to an item?
If you download an item from an online store, the link will be added automatically. However, if you add the item using a different method, the link field will be left empty. To add a link, copy it from the online store and paste it into the link field.
How to set the size of an item?
Type the size that is most convenient for you or the size specified by the manufacturer.
How to set the best fit body weight for an item?
If your weight tends to fluctuate, it may be helpful to specify the weight at which an item fits well. Tap the "square" icon to set the weight.
Move the sliders to the right or left to select the suitable weight range.
You can change the weight unit to either kilograms or pounds in the settings.
Please note that the "For weight" field may be inactive. Enable it in settings.
How to add the purchase price?
In order to track the cost of your wardrobe, add the purchase price of each item in your preferred currency.
To see a list of all the currencies, tap the "expand" icon.
Adding a price is essential in the Getwardrobe app for accurate statistics. It helps calculate total wardrobe cost, outfit cost, and item cost per use.
How to add a purchase date?
Tap the purchase date field to add it. Specifying a purchase date is equally essential for accurate statistics. When you add a purchase date, its cost is included in the total expenditure on your wardrobe for that specific year.
To add the date, select it in the calendar. Tap the "down arrow" at the right of the year to change it, and use the arrows to navigate through the months. To save a date, tap "OK".
Alternatively, you can enter the date manually by tapping the "pencil" icon.
Enter a date in the month/day/year format and tap "OK" to save.
How to add item care information?
Adding care information to an item is important for knowing how to properly maintain it in the future, especially when the label information may fade, or the tag could be removed.

To add care information, tap the "Care" field. You can indicate the specific care instructions for your clothes by navigating through the different tabs: Washing, Bleach, Drying, Ironing, and Professional care.
To specify a washing mode, tap the "Wash" icon and select the appropriate option from the provided list of washing modes.
Similarly, you can indicate the modes of bleaching, drying, ironing, and professional care by tapping their respective icons and selecting the appropriate options from the available lists.
How to add a note for an item?
The item note is only visible to you. Even if your wardrobe is public, your note remains private, and only users you have granted access to your wardrobe can see your notes.

If you want to add a note to an item, tap on the "Notes" field. You can write any additional information that is important to you, such as if it was a gift, special care instructions, or any other relevant notes that you want to keep track of.

How to add tags for an item?
Tags are a convenient way to classify clothes in your wardrobe as you want. You can add as many tags as you want, and they allow you to categorize your items according to your own preferences. For example, you can label all your office clothes with the tag "office" and quickly find them when you need them.

If you already have existing tags, by tapping the desired tag, you assign the tag to the item.
To create a new tag or delete an existing one, tap the "pencil" icon.
Then, type a new tag in the input field and then save.
After adding new tags, select them to assign to an item.

Privacy of an item

Item privacy is a feature that allows you to control the visibility of your items to other users. So, "public" mode will make your clothes available for viewing by other users, in "followers" mode, your clothes are available for viewing by users who follow you; and "private" mode makes your wardrobe visible only to you.

The default item privacy mode is configured in the account settings. All added clothing items will have a privacy mode specified in the account settings (privacy settings). However, you can change the privacy mode for specific items.

Tap one of the modes to set the privacy for an item.
Save changes
After adding or changing any characteristic of an item, don't forget to tap the "Save" button.
If you don't want to save changes, tap the "left arrow" icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
