How to edit items?

To edit an item, go to the "Clothes" screen by tapping the "Clothes" icon on the main screen.

On the "Clothes" screen, select the item you want to edit, then long-press it, and choose "Edit" from the pop-up menu.

To edit images of an item, tap the "pencil" icon in the lower right corner of the image area.

On the image editing screen, you can: remove background, crop an image, rotate right, rotate left, flip vertically or horizontally, delete an image, or add more images.

To remove background from the image, tap the "Remove background" button.

The Getwardrobe app has several background removal neural networks: "One item",
"2 + items", "Human", and "More details".

If you like how the background was removed, tap the "Save" button. Otherwise, tap the "Cancel" button to undo the background removal.

To add more images of the item, tap the "camera" icon and add photos. You can add up to five images of an item.

You can upload an image from your gallery, select a file from a device, take a photo using a device's camera from within the Getwardrobe app, or download an image from the internet using a link URL.

To change the main image of an item, select another added image at the bottom of the screen by tapping it, and after that, tap "Set main photo" in the upper left corner of the image area.

To return to the item edit screen, tap the "left arrow" icon.

Item privacy is a feature that allows you to control the visibility of your items to other users. So, "public" mode will make your clothes available for viewing by other users, in "followers" mode, your clothes are available for viewing by users who follow you; and "private" mode makes your wardrobe visible only to you.

The default item privacy mode is configured in the account settings. All added clothing items will have a privacy mode specified in the account settings (privacy settings). However, you can change the privacy mode for specific items.

To set the privacy mode for an item, tap the "lock" icon in the upper right corner.

Tap one of the modes to select the privacy mode for an item.

By default, newly added items belong to the owner of the wardrobe.

To assign an item to another family member, tap a family member's avatar. This changes an avatar's border to green, indicating that an item belongs to that family member.

To specify a brand, tap the brand field and type its name.

As you type, a list of brands beginning with those letters appears. Select the desired brand from the list.

If a brand you are looking for is not on the list, you can add it by tapping the blue button with the "+" icon in the right corner of the field.

Enter the name of a new brand and tap the "Save" button.

The Getwardrobe app automatically generates a title for a new item, but you can edit it according to your preferences.

You can add more details or remove unnecessary words to make a title more accurate and descriptive.

The status refers to the condition of an item. For example, "Active use" status means that the item is in good condition and you can wear it. You can also choose other statuses such as "Temporarily out", for example, if the item is currently in an inaccessible place; "To sell", or "To give away", and others.

All newly added items have the "Active use" status by default. To change the status, tap the "expand" icon.

Then, select the suitable status from the list.

If an item has a status other than "Active use", any outfits containing that item will be marked as inactive.

To set colors for an item, tap the colors field.

The Getwardrobe app automatically assigns colors to an item, with the first color being the primary one. An item can have up to 5 colors.

To change the main color, select the desired color and tap the "Set as main color" button.

You can edit an item's colors by using a photo or the color palette.

To change colors using an image, tap the area of the image that represents the desired color or slide your finger across the image to find the area that accurately reflects the color. The color in the color row adjusts accordingly.

Tap the "palette"/"photo" icons in the upper right corner to switch between the color palette and photo screens.

On the palette screen, you can manually select the desired colors. By moving the slider, you can select a specific color. By sliding horizontally on the scale, you can choose a shade.

To remove any extra colors, tap the "x" icon

To exit the color editing screen, tap the "left arrow" icon in the upper left corner of either the palette or photo screens.

An item can be assigned one or more seasons or no season at all. To set a season for an item, tap one of the seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter. You have the flexibility to assign one or more seasons to an item, or you can choose not to assign any season at all.

The link will be automatically added if you download an item from an online store. However, if you add the item using a different method, the link field will be empty. To add a link, copy it from an online store and paste it into the link field.

To set the size of an item, choose the size that is most convenient for you or the size specified by the manufacturer.

If your weight tends to fluctuate, it may be helpful to specify the weight at which an item fits well. Tap the "square" icon to set the weight.

Move the sliders to the right or left to select the suitable weight range.

You can specify the weight in either kilograms or pounds. To change the weight measurement unit, go to the settings.

In order to keep track of the cost of your wardrobe, it is important to add the purchase price of each item. You can add the price in the currency of your choice.

To view all available currencies, tap the "expand" icon within the purchase price field.

Scroll up or down to choose the appropriate currency from the list.

Adding a price is crucial for generating accurate statistics in the Getwardrobe app. It allows the app to calculate the total cost of your wardrobe, as well as the cost of each outfit, the price of each outfit per use, and the price of each item per use. You can view this information on the main screen under the "Shopping" tab, where the total wardrobe cost is displayed.

Specifying a purchase date is equally essential for accurate statistics. When you add a purchase date of an item in the Getwardrobe app, its cost is included in the total expenditure on your wardrobe for that specific year. This allows you to track and monitor your wardrobe expenses across different years. To add a purchase date, tap the purchase date field.

You can select a date either using the calendar or by entering it manually. To choose a date from the calendar, tap the "down arrow" at the right of the year to change it and use the arrows to navigate through the months. To save a date, tap "Ok".

Alternatively, you can enter the date manually by tapping the "pencil" icon.

You can enter a date in the month, day, and year format using a forward slash ("/"). Once you've entered the desired date, tap the "Ok" to save it.

Adding care information to an item is important for knowing how to properly maintain it in the future, especially when the label information may fade, or the tag could be removed.

To add care information, tap the "Care" field. You can indicate the specific care instructions for your clothes by navigating through the different tabs: Washing, Bleach, Drying, Ironing, and Professional care.

To specify a washing mode, tap the "Wash" icon and select the appropriate option from the provided list of washing modes.

Similarly, you can indicate the modes of bleaching, drying, ironing, and professional care by tapping their respective icons and selecting the appropriate options from the available lists.

To add a note to an item, tap the "Notes" field. There you can write any additional information that you deem important to know about the item. This could include details such as that this item was a gift, any special care instructions, or any other relevant notes you'd like to keep track of.

Using tags, you can conveniently filter your clothes in the wardrobe. There is no limit to the number of tags you can add.

Tags allow you to specify information about your items, such as where they are stored or the occasions you wear them for. For instance, you can label all your office clothes with the tag "office" and easily filter them when needed. You can also create tags like "On a date," "Favorites," "In the garage," "90s," or any other relevant categories.

If you already have existing tags, by tapping the desired tag, you assign the tag to the item.

To add a new tag, tap the "pencil" icon on the right side of the tags field.

Then, enter a new tag in the input field.

To save the new tag, tap the "+" icon or "Done" button.

After adding a new tag, select it among the tags.

You can't edit existing tags; however, you can delete them if you no longer need them.

After adding or changing any characteristic of an item, don't forget to tap the "Save" button at the bottom of the item's editing page.

If you don't want to save your changes, tap the "x" icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

Then tap "Discard changes".
