Use GetWardrobe on a Computer¶
GetWardrobe is built mobile-first, but you can also use your full wardrobe on a desktop or laptop. There are two options.
1. Web app¶
Open app.getwardrobe.com in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and sign in with the same account you use on your phone. Your items, outfits, and packing lists sync automatically.
The web app works on Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS.
Install as a PWA (optional)¶
The web app is a Progressive Web App, so you can install it like a regular desktop app — no store needed. Once installed it opens in its own window, lives in the dock or Start menu, and works offline for already-loaded screens.
- Chrome / Edge (any OS): Open
app.getwardrobe.com, click the install icon in the address bar (or ⋮ menu → Install GetWardrobe). - Safari on macOS: Open
app.getwardrobe.com, then File → Add to Dock.
To uninstall, right-click the app icon and choose Uninstall (or drag it to the Trash on macOS).
2. macOS app¶
If you're on a Mac, there is also a native app on the Mac App Store. It runs as a regular macOS application, supports keyboard shortcuts, and uses the same account as your iPhone/iPad — your wardrobe syncs across all of them.
Requires macOS 12 (Monterey) or later, on Apple Silicon or Intel.
Which one should I pick?¶
- Just want to view or edit your wardrobe from a laptop? Use the web app — nothing to install.
- On a Mac and want a real app icon, keyboard shortcuts, and tighter system integration? Use the macOS app.
- On Windows, Linux, or ChromeOS and want an app-like experience? Install the web app as a PWA.
All three options use the same account and sync the same data in real time, so you can switch between them at any moment.
